How Do You Defrost Steak Quickly?
Defrosting steak quickly can be done in several ways. The first and most popular method is to immerse the steak in cold water. Place the steak in a plastic bag and submerge it in cold water for 30 minutes per 500g of meat, changing the water every 30 minutes. Another way to thaw a steak is to use a microwave. Remove any packaging and place the steak on a microwave-safe plate. Use the defrost setting or lower power setting, flipping the steak occasionally, until it is thawed but still cool to the touch. Lastly, you can use the hot water method. Place the steak in a plastic bag and submerge it in hot (not boiling) water for 10-15 minutes, changing the water every 5 minutes.
