How Long Do You Blanch Corn Before Freezing?
To blanch corn before freezing, boil a large pot of water and submerge the corn cobs for 4-6 minutes depending on their size and thickness. Once the time has passed, remove the corn from the boiling water and immediately place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. After they’ve been chilled, pat the corn dry and then freeze them in airtight freezer bags or containers.
