How Do You Germinate Pomegranate Seeds?
To germinate pomegranate seeds, first, remove the seeds from a ripe pomegranate fruit and clean them in water. Then, soak the seeds in water for about 24 hours to soften the outer skin. After that, spread the seeds on a paper towel or cloth to dry for a few hours. Next, plant the seeds about 1 inch deep in a pot filled with a mixture of potting soil, sand, and vermiculite. Water the soil regularly to keep it moist but not waterlogged. Place the pot in a warm place that gets plenty of sunlight. It may take several weeks for the seeds to germinate.
