What Is The Difference Between Cinnamon Buns And Rolls?
Cinnamon buns are a type of pastry that typically consists of a sweet dough made with milk, yeast, and sugar, rolled out and filled with a mixture of cinnamon, sugar, and butter, then rolled into a swirl and baked with a sweet glaze. Cinnamon rolls, on the other hand, are similar but the rolling process is different–the dough is rolled out into a rectangle, covered in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and then rolled up into a log shape. In some regions, the terms are used interchangeably, but generally, cinnamon buns are denser and more indulgent, while cinnamon rolls are lighter and flakier.
