What Is The Difference Between Calphalon Classic And Signature?
Calphalon Classic and Signature are two different cookware lines from the same brand, Calphalon. The main difference between the two is the construction material and design. The Calphalon Classic is made of hard-anodized aluminum with stainless steel handles and a non-stick interior. On the other hand, the Signature collection features a triple-layer aluminum construction, which provides even heating throughout the skillet or pan. The Signature range also has sturdy brushed stainless steel handles, a PFOA-free non-stick surface and is oven safe up to 500°F, whereas the Classic line is oven-safe up to 450°F. Additionally, Signature pans have a slightly curved, flared rim for easy and drip-free pouring, while Classic pans have a straight edge.
