What Makes Dishwasher Soap Dispenser Open?
The dishwasher soap dispenser opens through a timing mechanism that is controlled by the dishwasher’s timer or electronic control board. When the wash cycle reaches the designated point where the detergent should be dispensed, the dispenser is triggered to open and release the detergent into the dishwasher’s water stream. Some dishwasher models may also have a mechanical release mechanism that opens the dispenser by physically lifting a latch or tab.
