What Fabric Does Not Stretch?
Fabrics that are considered non-stretch or low-stretch include woven fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk, wool, and polyester. These fabrics are typically more rigid and do not have much give or elasticity. However, some of these fabrics may have a slight amount of stretch due to the addition of spandex or elastane in the blend. In contrast, knit fabrics such as jersey and rib knit have natural stretch due to the way they are constructed.
