Can I Freeze Raw Bean Sprouts?
Raw bean sprouts can be frozen, but their texture may become softer and less crisp after thawing. It is recommended to blanch the bean sprouts in boiling water for 1-2 minutes before freezing to help preserve their texture. Once blanched, the bean sprouts should be cooled, patted dry, and stored in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer. They can be frozen for up to six months. Thaw the bean sprouts in the refrigerator before using.
