What Is Grenadine Made From?
Grenadine is a sweet, red syrup that is commonly used as a flavoring in cocktails and other drinks. It is made of pomegranate juice, sugar, and sometimes a small amount of lemon juice. Some modern versions of grenadine contain little or no actual pomegranate juice and are made mostly from high-fructose corn syrup and artificial flavorings. However, traditionally grenadine is made from pomegranate juice.
