What To Do If Your Microwave Is Smoking?
If your microwave is smoking, turn it off immediately and unplug it from the power source. Do not open the door until at least 5 minutes have passed and the smoke has dissipated. Check for any burned or damaged parts inside the microwave. If there is no obvious damage, clean the inside thoroughly and try using it again with a small amount of water to test if it still produces smoke. If it continues to smoke, it might be time to replace the microwave.
