How Do You Broil On The Stove Top?
Broiling on the stove top is actually known as pan broiling. To pan broil, first choose a heavy-bottomed pan made of cast iron or another material that conducts heat well. Place the pan on the stove top burner and preheat it on high heat for a few minutes. Season your meat or vegetables with salt and pepper and then place them in the hot pan. Cook each side for about three to five minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Be sure to flip the food only once during cooking to create a nice crust.
