How Is A Toffee Made?
To make toffee, sugar and butter are heated together until the mixture reaches a temperature of around 300 degrees Fahrenheit. This is known as the hard crack stage, and at this point, the toffee becomes brittle when cooled. The mixture is then poured onto a greased surface and allowed to cool before being broken into pieces and enjoyed. Flavorings such as vanilla or nuts can also be added to the toffee mixture before being cooked.
