Do Sparkling Water Dehydrate You?
There is some debate on whether sparkling water can dehydrate you. Some people believe that the added carbonation in sparkling water could cause you to lose more water through urination and therefore lead to dehydration. However, there is no scientific evidence to support this claim. In fact, sparkling water is still water and can contribute to your daily recommended intake of water. So, unless you have a pre-existing condition that limits your intake of carbon dioxide, drinking sparkling water in moderation should not dehydrate you.
