What Is Inside Of A Squash?
The inside of a squash as we know it, is typically composed of several hundred seeds within a hollow, fleshy cavity. This is surrounded by a thick, tough outer rind. The color and texture of the squash flesh can vary depending on the type of squash, but it is generally a vibrant shade of yellow or orange with a slightly stringy consistency. In some cases, such as with spaghetti squash, the flesh can even be used as a pasta substitute.
