How Do You Cut An Onion With A Paper Thin?
To cut an onion with paper-thin slices, first, slice off both ends and cut the onion in half vertically. Peel the skin off and place one half flat side down on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, make very thin slices from the root end to the top of the onion, being careful not to cut all the way through. Repeat with the other half of the onion. If you want even thinner slices, you can use a mandoline slicer to achieve the desired thickness.
