How Can You Tell How Old An Aloe Plant Is?
You can roughly tell how old an aloe plant is by counting the number of leaves it has. Each year, one or two new leaves grow in the center of the rosette while older leaves turn yellow and wilt away. So, by counting the number of leaves in the center, you can estimate the age of the plant. However, this method is not entirely accurate as some factors such as environmental conditions and how well the plant is cared for can affect the growth rate.
