How Was Cabbage Created?
Cabbage is a plant that evolved from wild mustard and became domesticated in Europe around 1000 B.C. It was created through selective breeding and cultivation, as early farmers chose certain plants with desirable traits (such as larger leaves, denser heads, and resistance to disease) for future generations. Through these efforts, cabbage became a staple crop that was widely consumed throughout Europe and eventually spread to other parts of the world.
