A Line Cook is an integral part of a kitchen team who is responsible for preparing, cooking and plating meals in a restaurant. Their job duties include following recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, cooking and seasoning various types of meats, vegetables and other food items, chopping and dicing, cleaning and sanitizing the work station, and collaborating with other chefs and kitchen staff members to ensure timely and efficient food service. The Line Cook should also have experience in line cooking, be able to handle the fast-paced environment, and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
