How Does An Air Fryer Work?
An air fryer works by circulating hot air around the food using convection. The air is heated by an element and a powerful fan blows the hot air around the inside of the fryer, creating a crispy exterior on the food. The basket inside the fryer allows the air to circulate around the food from all sides, encouraging even cooking. The food is typically coated in a thin layer of oil before being placed in the fryer, but significantly less oil is required compared to traditional frying methods.
