Should You Cover Pork Chops When Baking In The Oven?
It is not necessary to cover pork chops when baking in the oven. In fact, leaving them uncovered allows for more even browning and a nice crispy texture on the outside. However, if you are concerned about the pork chops drying out, you can loosely cover them with foil during the first half of the cooking time and then remove it for the remainder of the cooking time to achieve the desired texture.
