How Should Hanger Steak Be Cooked?
Hanger steak should be cooked over high heat, either on a grill or in a cast-iron skillet, for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain and serving. Hanger steak has a lot of flavor, so simply seasoning with salt and pepper is usually sufficient, but you can also use a marinade or rub if desired.
