How Do You Make Natural Yogurt?
Natural yogurt can be made at home by heating milk to 185°F to kill any harmful bacteria and then cooling it to 110°F. Add yogurt culture (2 tablespoons of plain yogurt) to the warm milk and mix well. Place the mixture in a warm, covered place for 6-8 hours until the yogurt sets. The longer it is left, the tangier it will become. Once set, refrigerate the yogurt to stop culturing. The resulting yogurt can be consumed plain or flavored with fruits, honey or nuts.
