How Mixed Salad Is Prepared?
Mixed salad is typically prepared by combining various vegetables, fruits, nuts, and/or seeds, and then adding a dressing. The vegetables can include lettuce, spinach, kale, arugula, carrots, cucumbers, peppers, and radishes, while the fruit can include strawberries, blueberries, grapes, and apples. Nuts such as walnuts, almonds or seeds like flax seeds are often added for a crunch. The dressing can be oil and vinegar-based or creamy, and can include ingredients such as lemon juice, mustard, honey, and herbs. Once all the ingredients are combined, the mixed salad is tossed thoroughly and served chilled.
