How Do You Freeze Raw Carrots?
To freeze raw carrots, first clean and peel them. Cut them into desired sizes or shapes and blanch them quickly in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Immediately transfer the blanched carrots into ice-cold water for another 2-3 minutes. Dry them thoroughly using a kitchen towel or a paper towel. Place the carrots into a freezer-safe ziplock bag or airtight container. Label the container with the date and freeze it. Frozen carrots can be stored in the freezer for up to 8-12 months.
