How Is Chambord Made?
Chambord is made using a combination of ingredients including raspberries, blackberries, Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, honey, cognac and herbs and spices. These ingredients are macerated together in neutral grain spirits for several weeks, which extracts both the flavor and color from the fruit and allows the flavors to meld. The resulting mixture is then filtered and blended with additional spirits, sugar and water to create the finished product.
