How Do You Sous Vide A Frozen Ribeye?
Sous vide cooking of frozen ribeye steak requires an immersion circulator and a sous vide container. The frozen steak should first be brought to room temperature, then seasoned with salt and pepper and vacuum-sealed. The steak should be placed in the sous vide container filled with water at the desired temperature (typically 129°F for medium-rare) and cooked for 1-2 hours (depending on the thickness of the steak). Once the time is up, remove the steak from the bag and sear it in a hot cast-iron skillet or on a grill for a crispy crust.
