What Temperature Will Kill Fungus?
The temperature required to kill fungus varies depending on the type of fungus and its growth stage. Most fungi are killed at temperatures above 60°C (140°F), but some spores can survive at much higher temperatures. Similarly, freezing temperatures can also kill fungi, but it depends on the length of time the fungus is exposed to the cold. In general, high temperatures or long exposure to low temperatures can effectively kill fungus.
