What Are The Levels Of Steak Cooked?
There are primarily four levels of steak cooked: rare, medium rare, medium, and well done. Rare steak is cooked quickly on high heat and is seared on the outside while still raw/red on the inside, medium rare has a warm red center, medium has a pink center, and well-done is cooked through and has no pink. The level of doneness is usually achieved based on the internal temperature of the steak.
