What Kind Of Squid Do We Eat?
We commonly eat two kinds of squid, the Pacific Squid and the Atlantic Squid. The Pacific Squid, also known as the Japanese Flying Squid, is found in the eastern Pacific Ocean and is commonly used for making sushi. The Atlantic Squid, also called the European Squid, is mostly found in the Atlantic Ocean and is used for dishes like calamari. Both squids are known for their chewy texture and mild taste.
