What Wines Are Usually Dry?
Dry wines usually have very little residual sugar, which means that they are not sweet. Some of the most popular types of dry wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling (although some Rieslings can be sweet). Additionally, most sparkling wines are also dry, including Champagne, Prosecco, and Cava. If a wine is not labeled as sweet or semi-sweet, it is likely to be a dry wine.
