What Does A Shrimp Eat?
A shrimp is an omnivorous crustacean that feeds on various types of organic matter such as microscopic algae, small aquatic plants, plankton, and tiny animals like mollusks, small fish, and other crustaceans. They are known to scavenge on dead and decaying organic matter and consume detritus and waste products from other animals. Some shrimp species are also known to feed on debris and sediment on the ocean floor.
