What Happens If You Iron Viscose?
Viscose is a type of rayon fabric that is derived from natural fibers such as wood pulp and cotton. If you iron viscose without taking precautions, it can easily get damaged. Ironing viscose clothes at high temperatures can cause them to shrink, deform, and lose their shape. Moreover, direct heat can cause the fibers to melt and create dark spots on the fabric. To avoid damaging viscose, it is recommended to iron it at a low temperature and use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.
