Apple crisp should be refrigerated only if it has been cooked and leftovers are to be stored. Otherwise, it is best to keep apple crisp at room temperature until ready to serve as refrigerating it may cause the topping to become soggy. If storing leftovers in the refrigerator, cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep it in the fridge for up to four days. Reheat it in the oven or microwave before serving.
