How Is Grasshopper Made?
Grasshopper is a free and open-source visual programming language and environment that is used to create 3D parametric designs and animations. It is developed and maintained by the software company McNeel and Associates. The software is made using the C# programming language and runs within the popular 3D modeling application Rhino. Grasshopper allows designers, architects, and engineers to quickly and easily generate complex geometries and iterate on designs, without the need for traditional hand-drawn sketches or programming knowledge.
