How Do You Make Candy Cane?
To make candy canes, you will need sugar, corn syrup, water, cream of tartar, peppermint or other flavor extract, and red food coloring. First, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add cream of tartar and continue to cook until the mixture reaches 300°F. Remove from heat and stir in flavor extract and food coloring. Pour the mixture onto a greased surface and allow it to cool slightly.
