How Is Toffee Made?
Toffee is made by heating sugar, butter, and water together until it reaches a high temperature. As the mixture continues to cook, the water evaporates and the sugar caramelizes, resulting in a hard, crunchy texture. Sometimes, additional ingredients such as nuts or chocolate are added to the toffee mixture for extra flavor. Once the toffee is ready, it is poured onto a flat surface to cool and harden before being broken into smaller pieces for consumption.
